### 2. **Rooted in Relation: A Training for Indigenous & Non-Indigenous Changemakers**

**Where:** PERA Conference and Training Facility, SRP Campus

This Indigenous-led training offers a space for participants to deepen their understanding of reciprocity, cultural safety, and relational accountability in partnerships with Tribal Nations. Designed for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous attendees, this session focuses on building meaningful relationships and understanding cultural perspectives. It is an opportunity for non-Indigenous attendees to engage respectfully with Indigenous communities, while Indigenous participants can find affirmation and tools to lead change.

In conversation with former Senator Raquel Terán, Cristina’s story sheds light on the immigrant experience and the importance of building community and power through collective action.

The event will feature interpretation services (Spanish-English) and a book signing will follow.
